Who are the top New Orleans Saints of all time? Here is our top 10 countdown:
10. Eric Martin: a Pro Bowler in 1988, Martin played nine years in a Saints uniform and caught 500+ passes for nearly 8,000 yards and 50 touchdowns, highlighted by three 1,000-yard seasons.
9. Wayne Martin: spending his entire 11-year NFL career in New Orleans with one Pro Bowl selection, Martin racked up 82.5 career sacks, including 5x in double-digits and a career-high 15.5 sacks in 1992.
8. Marques Colston: despite being a seventh-round draft pick, Colston racked up six 1,000-yard seasons during his decade-long career with the Saints and is the franchise career leader in receptions (711), receiving yards (9,759), and receiving touchdowns (72).
7. Morten Andersen: the highest scorer in NFL history upon his retirement, Andersen spent 13 of his 25 NFL seasons as the Saints’ kicker with six Pro Bowl and two All-Pro selections en route to the Hall of Fame.
6. Pat Swilling: the 1991 Defensive Player of the Year with a league-leading and career-best 17.0 sacks, Swilling had double-digit sacks in five of his seven seasons with New Orleans, earning four straight Pro Bowls with a pair of All-Pro nods as part of the “Dome Patrol” linebacking corps.

Drew Brees: one of the most consequential free agent signings in NFL history, Brees became the most prolific quarterback in league history during his time with the Saints, at one time holding a slew of career passing records; moreover, across 15 seasons in New Orleans, he was a 12x Pro Bowler, 2x Offensive Player of the Year, 1x All-Pro, and 4x MVP runner-up, and led New Orleans to their first Super Bowl title, winning Super Bowl MVP in the process.
