Who are the top New England Patriots of all time?  Here is our top 10 countdown:

10. Troy Brown: known for his versatility (primarily a wide receiver, but also played defensive back and special teams), Brown played 15 years in New England, making a Pro Bowl, winning three Super Bowls, and retiring with a number of team records for receiving and punt returns.

9. Stanley Morgan: the franchise career leader in receiving yards, Morgan averaged nearly 20 yards per catch during his 13 years in New England, making four Pro Bowl teams and scoring 67 touchdowns with the team.

8. Adam Vinatieri: arguably the greatest kicker in NFL history, Vinatieri was a 3x Pro Bowler and 3x All-Pro who holds all-time records for most field goals and points scored, and also won four Super Bowls with New England, kicking the game-winning field goal in two of them.

7. Richard Seymour: one of the defensive anchors of three Patriots championship teams, Seymour was a hybrid defensive end/tackle who made five straight Pro Bowls with three consecutive All-Pro selections in the 2000s.

6. Mike Haynes: a 6x Pro Bowler in seven seasons with New England, Haynes began his NFL career as Defensive Rookie of the Year and went on to pick off 28 passes with the team.

5. Andre Tippett: a pass-rushing outside linebacker who earned five Pro Bowls and two All-Pro selections, Tippett racked up exactly 100.0 career sacks with the Patriots, including consecutive seasons with 18.5 and 16.5 sacks in 1984 and 1985, respectively.

4. Ty Law: a shutdown corner during his decade in New England, Law picked off 36 passes and was a 4x Pro Bowler/2x All-Pro during his tenure while winning three Super Bowls.

3. Rob Gronkowski: the premier tight end of his era, Gronkowski was a 5x Pro Bowler and 4x All-Pro who won three Super Bowls with the Patriots; moreover, he scored 79 touchdowns, including five seasons with double-digit scores and a single-season tight end record of 17 touchdowns in 2011.

2. John Hannah: one of the best offensive linemen in league history, Hannah spent his entire Hall of Fame career with the Patriots, earning nine Pro Bowl and seven All-Pro selections while making both the 1970s and 1980s All-Decade Teams.

1. Tom Brady: the greatest quarterback in NFL history, Brady is a 3x MVP who has not only passed for over 70,000 career yards and 500 touchdowns in the regular season, but perhaps more importantly, guided the Patriots to a record six Super Bowl titles while winning Super Bowl MVP a record 4x.
