Who are the top Miami Heat of all time?  Here is our top 10 countdown:

10. Eddie Jones: a versatile wing proficient on both the offensive and defensive ends, Jones starred with the Heat in the early 2000s and had a steady all-around game with 16.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

9. Glen Rice: one of the best three-point shooters of his era, Rice spent the first six years of his NBA career with the Heat, averaging 19.3 points per game, including 3x with 20+ points per game.

8. Rony Seikaly: a steady center who spent his first half-dozen NBA seasons in Miami, Seikaly averaged a double-double (15.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game) in a Heat uniform and won the 1989-1990 Most Improved Player Award.

7. Udonis Haslem: the longtime “enforcer” for the Heat, Haslem has played his entire career with the team and won three titles with the Heat while averaging 7+ rebounds per game for eight consecutive seasons in his prime.

6. Shaquille O’Neal: perhaps the most physically imposing center of all-time and well-known for his thundering dunks, O’Neal played three-and-a-half years in Miami with a young Dwyane Wade, earning three All-Star and two All-NBA nods and winning a championship in 2005-2006.

5. Tim Hardaway: known for his “UTEP two-step” crossover dribble, Hardaway was a 2x All-Star and All-NBA selection during his five-and-half years with Miami, putting up averages of 17.3 points and 7.8 assists per game with the team in the late 1990s.

4. Chris Bosh: the third member of the “Big Three”, Bosh sacrificed some of his individual numbers in Miami to win titles, but was nevertheless an All-Star in each of his six seasons with the Heat and won two titles before being forced to retire prematurely for health reasons.

3. Alonzo Mourning: a franchise cornerstone before health issues took their toll, Mourning was a dominant two-way center during his prime with Miami – 5x All-Star, 2x All-NBA, 2x All-Defensive, and 2x Defensive Player of the Year who also led the league in blocks in back-to-back seasons

2. LeBron James: destined for greatness since coming out of high school, LeBron joined the Heat via his infamous “The Decision” in 2010 and was an All-Star and All-NBA player in each of his four seasons with Miami, winning back-to-back MVP awards while leading the team to NBA titles with Finals MVP in both of those years.

1. Dwyane Wade: the greatest player in Heat history, Wade led the team to three NBA titles (including earning Finals MVP for the team’s first championship) during his career while winning a scoring title and racking up 13 All-Star, eight All-NBA, and three All-Defensive selections.
