Who are the top Utah Jazz of all time?  Here is our top 10 countdown:

10. Jeff Hornacek: a highly underrated shooting guard, Hornacek played the back half of his career in Utah (six-and-half years), averaging 14.4 points per game and leading the team to back-to-back NBA Finals appearances in the late 1990s.

9. Andrei Kirilenko: known as AK-47, Kirilenko was a highly versatile player during his decade with Utah: an All-Star and 3x All-Defensive selection, he led the league in blocks in 2004-2005 and averaged 12.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game in a Jazz uniform.

8. Deron Williams: drafted to be John Stockton’s heir at point guard, Williams played his first five-and-half seasons with the Jazz, where he was a 2x All-Star and 2x All-NBA selection who posted double-digit assists for four straight seasons.

7. Mark Eaton: one of the best shot-blockers in NBA history (3.5 blocks per game), Eaton spent his entire career with the Jazz and was a 2x Defensive Player of the Year, 5x All-Defensive selection, and 1x All-Star who led the league in blocks 4x.

6. Rudy Gobert: a perennial Defensive Player of the Year contender (3x winner), Gobert was a 3x All-Star, 4x All-NBA, and 6x All-Defensive who averaged a double-double during his nine seasons with the Jazz.

5. Donovan Mitchell: since coming into the league in 2017, Mitchell has established himself as a bona fide superstar with Utah, averaging 20+ points per game every year and earning three All-Star selections.

Pete Maravich: the top scorer in NCAA history, Maravich brought his high-scoring ways to the NBA and was one of the team’s first stars while in New Orleans; in five-and-half seasons, he averaged 25+ points per game for three straight All-Star selections, three All-NBA teams, and the 1976-1977 scoring title.

3. Adrian Dantley: a 2x scoring champion, Dantley spent seven seasons in his prime with the Jazz and averaged nearly 30 points per game (29.6, including four consecutive seasons of 30+), earning six All-Star and two All-NBA selections.

John Stockton: the NBA’s all-time assists and steals leader, Stockton was a model of consistency – he played all 82 games 16x in his career and led the league in assists for nine straight years while perfecting the pick-and-roll with teammate Karl Malone, though fell just short of an NBA title in the Michael Jordan era.

1. Karl Malone: the third-leading scorer and one of the most rugged and durable players in NBA history, Malone perfected the art of the pick-and-roll with teammate John Stockton, averaging 25-and-10 for his career and making 11 straight All-NBA First Teams while also winning MVP honors twice.
