Who are the top Portland Trail Blazers of all time?  Here is our top 10 countdown:

10. Clifford Robinson: a longtime fan favorite, Robinson played the first eight seasons of his NBA career with the Trail Blazers and was a versatile player with an All-Star nod, two All-Defensive selections, and a Sixth Man of the Year award.

9. Geoff Petrie: the 1970-1971 Rookie of the Year, Petrie was a dynamic scorer before injuries forced his premature retirement, averaging 21.8 points per game in six seasons with Portland and garnering a pair of All-Star selections.

8. CJ McCollum: the backcourt mate of Damian Lillard for nearly a decade, McCollum spent his first nine seasons with Portland and developed into one of the league’s best shooting guards, winning Most Improved Player in 2015-2016 and averaging 19.0 points per game during his Trail Blazers career.

7. Sidney Wicks: across five seasons in Portland, Wicks was Rookie of the Year in 1971-1972 and earned four straight All-Star selections while putting up 22.3 points per game (including four straight seasons of 20+ points per game).

6. Brandon Roy: though injuries led to his premature retirement at age 28, Roy was an all-around talent when healthy – in his five seasons as a Trail Blazer, he was Rookie of the Year, a 3x All-Star, 2x NBA, and averaged 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.

5. Terry Porter: Clyde Drexler’s longtime backcourt mate, Porter spent the first 10 seasons of his career in Portland and earned a pair of All-Star selections, averaging 15 points and 7 assists for his Trail Blazers career.

4. LaMarcus Aldridge: acquired in a 2006 draft day trade, Aldridge played his first nine NBA seasons with Portland and averaged 19.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in a Trail Blazers uniform (including five consecutive seasons of 20+ points per game), thus garnering four All-Star and three All-NBA nods.

3. Bill Walton: the #1 overall pick in the 1974 NBA Draft following a dominant college career at UCLA, Walton was plagued by injuries and only played four seasons with Portland, but made his time count – not only did he win an MVP and make a pair of All-Star, All-NBA, and All-Defensive Teams while averaging a double-double (17.1 points and 13.5 rebounds per game) with a both a rebounding and a blocks crown, but he also led the Trail Blazers to their first and only title in 1976-1977 while winning NBA Finals MVP.

Clyde Drexler: though he was generally overshadowed by Michael Jordan throughout his career, Drexler was a dynamic player in his own right – in a dozen seasons with Portland, he was an 8x All-Star and 5x All-NBA selection who averaged over 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game and led the team to the NBA Finals in 1991-1992.

1. Damian Lillard: the team’s all-time leading scorer, Lillard has spent his entire career in Portland, averaging over 24 points and 6 assists per game while earning Rookie of the Year honors with six All-Star and six All-NBA selections.
