Who are the top Golden State Warriors of all time?  Here is our top 10 countdown:

10. Neil Johnston: with three straight scoring titles and a rebounding crown, Johnston was one of the elite big men of the 1950s – he was a 6x All-Star and 5x All-NBA pick who also won the 1955-1956 title with the Warriors while they were still based in Philadelphia.

9. Draymond Green: a highly versatile player and consistent triple-double threat despite not being a prolific scorer, Green has been an integral part of three Golden State championships – he has made three All-Star, two All-NBA, and five All-Defensive teams in addition to leading the league in steals and winning Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2016-2017.

8. Nate Thurmond: across more than a decade with the Warriors, Thurmond was a towering presence at center who averaged a double-double for his career en route to seven All-Star and five All-Defensive selections.

7. Kevin Durant: one of the elite scorers of his generation, Durant only spent three seasons with the Warriors (after nearly a decade and four scoring titles with the Oklahoma City Thunder), but scored 25+ points per game each season in Golden State and won two NBA titles while taking home Finals MVP both times.

6. Chris Mullin: the heart and soul of the Warriors for over a decade in the mid-1980s and early 1990s, Mullin was a versatile wing who averaged 20+ points per game for half a dozen straight years en route to five All-Star and four All-NBA teams; though team success was fleeting in Golden State, he was a member of the original “Dream Team”.

5. Paul Arizin: one of the NBA’s first superstars, Arizin began his career as Rookie of the Year and was a 10x All-Star and 4x All-NBA selection who twice led the league in scoring and won the 1955-1956 title with the Warriors.

4. Klay Thompson: the other half of the “Splash Brothers” alongside Steph Curry, Thompson has been a standout three-point shooter and overall player in his own right with five All-Star and two All-NBA selections while guiding the Warriors to three titles.

3. Rick Barry: perhaps best known for shooting free throws underhanded, Barry was a prolific scorer who averaged 30+ points per game 4x across the NBA and ABA, including a career-high 35.6 points per game to win the NBA scoring title in 1966-1967 with the Warriors; over his career with the team, he was also an All-Star (8x), All-NBA (6x), NBA champion (1x), and Finals MVP (1x).

2. Wilt Chamberlain: famous for his record 100-point game and his rivalry with Bill Russell, Chamberlain was a man among boys during his time – with the Warriors, he averaged an incredible 41.5 points (6x scoring champion) and 25.1 rebounds (4x rebounding champion; also the highest all-time marks in both per-game and total rebounding), though only won one of his four total MVP awards.

1. Steph Curry: arguably the greatest three-point shooter in NBA history, Curry is a 2x MVP who has not only been at the vanguard of a shooting paradigm shift, but has also helped guide the Warriors to three titles and the best regular season record in league history (73-9).
