Who are the top Philadelphia Phillies of all time? Here is our top 10 countdown:
10. Bobby Abreu: a steady, yet underrated performer during his eight-and-a-half seasons in Philadelphia, Abreu hit .300+ overall with the team and scored 100+ runs 6x while driving in 100+ runs 5x, but was only an All-Star twice with one Gold Glove and Silver Slugger apiece.
9. Chase Utley: one of the game’s elite second basemen during his prime with the Phillies, Utley made six All-Star Games and won four Silver Sluggers during a dozen plus years with the team, highlighted by winning the World Series in 2008.
8. Dick Allen: after winning NL Rookie of the Year and having one of the best rookie seasons ever in 1964, Allen went on to earn three All-Star selections and finish top-10 for MVP 2x with Philadelphia during a relatively offensively-depressed era.
