9. Bobby Douglass: one of the original dual-threat quarterbacks, Douglass ran for a then-record 968 yards in 1972, but completed only 43.0% of his career passes and had a career touchdown-to-interception ratio of 36 to 64.

3. Boomer Esiason: best-known for his decade with the Cincinnati Bengals, Esiason not only made four Pro Bowls and was NFL MVP while leading the Bengals to Super Bowl XXIII in 1988, but he is also the most prolific left-handed passer in league history (37,920 career passing yards).

2. Ken Stabler: known as the “Snake” for his wily ways, Stabler was the rare left-handed quarterback; a 4x Pro Bowler and 1x All-Pro, he won the MVP in 1974 and led the Oakland Raiders to victory in Super Bowl XI, retiring as the franchise’s all-time leading passer.

1. Steve Young: arguably the greatest left-handed quarterback in NFL history, Young won two MVPs and three Super Bowls (two as a backup to Joe Montana, one as the starter) en route to the Hall of Fame; not only did he lead the NFL in passer rating 6x, but he is also top-10 all-time in quarterback rushing yards (4,239) and scored 43 touchdowns on the ground.
